Call Opens for Entries for Festival of Migrant Film

downloadThe Slovene Philanthropy, otherwise known as Association for the Promotion of Voluntary Work, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is calling on international filmmakers, video artists and activists to submit films and video works of any genre, length or year of production for consideration for the 10th edition of the Festival of Migrant Film.

The festival commemorates the World Refugee Day, June 20. All entries must be submitted with English (or Slovenian) subtitles.

Projections and accompanying events will be taken to different Slovenian cities with the aim of highlighting different topics and issues related to migration, asylum and the life of refugees.

Receipt of entries is opened until January 15, 2019.

Submission of film/video work is done using the online application system:

The FMF 2019 will take place in Ljubljana and other Slovenian cities in June 2019. The exact date of the festival is to be announced later.
