Politician Slaps Female Journalist Recording Him

download (1)On March 9, 2019, a  politician in Lagos, Mr. Segun Adewale a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) popularly called “Aeroland”, slapped a female reporter with the BBC, Ms Ajoke Ulohotse, who was covering the governorship and State Houses of Assembly election. The incident took place at Pleasure bus stop along Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway in Lagos.

The politician had insisted that the female journalist should not record him and while she was making a call, asked her reporter who she was trying to call.

Segun assaulted the female BBC journalists for filming him while buying votes, allegedly sharing N1,000 notes.
