One World Media Awards now Open to Journalists

The One World Media Awards 2018 are now open for entries to journalists whose work have been printed, broadcast or screened either in the United Kingdom or internationally for a global audience.

The Awards honour underreported stories on social, political or cultural life in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East and former Soviet Republics.

The competition has 14 categories, celebrating work from all media platforms and across a wide range of genres; and a special award for an independent media outlet based in a developing country.

Work  submitted for the Awards must have been first published, broadcast, launched or screened between February 3, 2017 and February 15, 2018.

The submission deadline is February 15, 2018.
